Learn about the chart title and how to customize it.
The title of the chart can be set to provide context for the data being displayed. You can customize the title's text, font, alignment, position, border, and shadow to match your design preferences.
Direct settings
These are the input fields shown directly in the Title panel:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Id | A text field to set a unique identifier for the title element |
| Title | The main title text displayed at the top of the chart |
| Title Link | A URL that turns the title into a clickable link. When a URL is provided, clicking the title opens the link in a new browser tab |
| Subtitle | A secondary line of text displayed just below the main title, useful for adding extra context or a date stamp |
| Subtitle Link | A URL that turns the subtitle into a clickable link. When a URL is provided, clicking the subtitle opens the link in a new browser tab |
| Padding | The space around the title in pixels. Larger values create more breathing room between the title and surrounding chart elements |
| Gap | The vertical space between the title and subtitle in pixels. Increase this when you want more separation between the two text lines |
| Background Color | Click the color picker to choose a background color for the title area, or paste a hex value directly (e.g., #FF0000) |
