Colors
Learn how to customize the color palette for your chart.
You can set a default color palette used throughout the chart — think of it as your brand identity. These colors are applied automatically to all chart elements unless you overwrite them for specific pictas or components.

| Color Palette | A set of up to eight color swatches. Click a swatch to change its color, or choose one of the predefined palettes from the dropdown. The palette determines the default colors for series, data points, and other chart elements |
| Background Color | The background color of the entire chart canvas. Click the color picker to choose a color, or paste a hex value directly |
Tip: By default there is a margin between the card border and the chart. Temporarily set a dark background color to reveal that margin — now you can see the real size and boundaries of your chart canvas.
