Title

The title of the chart can be set to provide context for the data being displayed. You can customize the title's text, font size, and color to match your design preferences.

Legend

The legend helps identify the different data series in the chart. You can position it in various locations and customize its appearance to enhance clarity.

Tooltip

Tooltips provide additional information when hovering over data points. You can format the tooltip content to display relevant details about the data.

Grid

The grid defines the area where the chart is drawn. You can adjust the margins and padding to optimize the layout of your visualization.

Data Zoom

Data zoom allows you to focus on specific sections of the data. You can enable zooming features to enhance interactivity.

Visual Axis

Besides the standard horizontal, vertical, radial, and angular axes, you can add additional visual axes to represent extra dimensions of data. These axes are:

  • Color
  • Symbol size
  • Lightness
  • Saturation

For color and size axes, you can define the mapping between data values and visual properties using gradients (smooth mapping) or segments (discrete steps). Shape axes allow you to assign different shapes to data points based on categorical values.

Text Style

The text style setting allows you to define the default font family, size, weight, opacity, and color for all text elements in the chart, ensuring a consistent look and feel. Besides the font you can also set the border and the shadow of the text to enhance its visibility against various backgrounds.

Animation

Animations are enabled by default to create smooth transitions when the chart is rendered or updated. You can customize the animation duration and easing effects to enhance the visual experience.

Colors

You can customize the color palette used in the chart to align with your branding or design guidelines. You may choose from predefined color schemes or create your own.

Aspect Ratio

The default aspect ratio is 4:3 (width:height). You can adjust this ratio to fit your design needs. Common aspect ratios include:

  • 16:9 for widescreen displays
  • 1:1 for square layouts
  • 3:4 for portrait orientations

But feel free to set a custom ratio that best suits your visualization.

Notes

Notes are for you, the chart creator. They will be stored with saved charts, but will be removed from published charts. Use notes to remind yourself of important details about the chart, such as data sources, design decisions, or future improvements you want to make.
